Dr Athos really cares about his patients. He went above and beyond to explain my issues in detail AND…….provided multiple options for treatment. My previous dentist just gave me the most expensive options only. Dr. Athos takes the time to treat his patients like people…….not just a number ($$) in a business. The work he did on me was great – highly recommend!

Tooth extraction is often needed if a tooth is too damaged to repair or if it is damaging your other teeth. In some cases, you need to have teeth removed to make room for dentures or another dental restoration. We can also remove wisdom teeth if necessary. We’ll evaluate your case to see if we can help. If we can’t, we’ll refer you to a specialist who can remove them.
Your dental insurance or medical insurance may cover a portion of your oral surgery. We recommend you check with your individual carriers to find out what they will and won’t pay for before you have any work done. That way there aren’t any big surprises in store for you. As a convenience, we offer third-party financing through CareCredit.
You should not exercise at all for the first 24 hours after your surgery. Doing so could cause problems that prolong your healing. For example, strenuous exercise can loosen the blood clot on an extraction site and cause a painful condition known as dry socket. After the first day, limit your exercise to low-impact activities for several more days.
